Mevlyde Saraci denies giving the photo to Flora Brovina

Civil Society Group representative Mevlyde Saraci, who was accused by PDK deputy Flora Brovina of handing over the picture of the violation of a Kosovo woman by Serbian soldiers who presented her yesterday in public, has denied having anything to do with that picture.

By telephone, the former LDK deputy told Kosova Prees that the first time she saw that picture was yesterday when MP Brovina introduced it before the media and in the Kosovo Assembly.

I'm really sorry I got into a situation like this. The first time I've seen that picture is yesterday when I've been very attentive to this” event, Saraci said.

She even said it is strange how MP Brovina is remembering it right now.

I have been unemployed since 2007, and Flora Brovina never remembered me, while he remembered to involve me in this case. But that's all right, I'll take care of this case and make the right bulls”, Saraci said over the phone.

Otherwise, during today, PDK deputy Flora Brovina after being interviewed by the prosecution about the published photograph, which turned out to be part of an Iraqi pornographic film, said she had accepted that photograph in 2003 by former LDK deputy Mevlyde Saraqi, who at the time held the post of the Commission's deputy chairman for Missing Persons.
