Even so, the call has been directed for citizens to take long measures and be ready for any confrontation with possible flooding, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

The Suhareka municipality through an announcement has confirmed that from Tuesday floods have been warned in this municipality.

According to warnings made by the Hidrology Sector of the Hydrometeorological Institute, floods will occur in Kosovo by tomorrow (Saturday) due to heavy rainfall involving the country in the coming days. It is predicted that rainfall will be constant for 72 hours with an amount of >30 mm, with high probability of extreme rainfall, floods and landslides in sensitive areas. The most hit areas will be the western and southern part of the country”, the Suhareka municipality reports. It says that this warning by the Hydrometeorology Institute has been discussed Monday at the regular meeting of the Council of Directors.
