The leadership of the Democratic League of Kosovo has held meetings today under the chairmanship of President Isa Mustafa, where it was discussed in the process of internal elections in the LDK. In the media communiqué, those who are unable to respect party rules must withdraw to avoid damaging the process.
As reported in the media communiqué, BiH estimated that the process has advanced and that it has ended up in a considerable part of branches, an atmosphere of competition and internal competition.
“Zies are being conveyed with increased interest in membership and new conduct in the branches. The election process is important for strengthening and regeneration of the LDK as a reformist and very important party for all processes that have passed and Kosovo is going through. In this prism, the LDK also sees the interest of media and public in elections in LDK”, the communique says.
On the other hand, the LDK's leadership reportedly reaffirmed its and the General Council's position for a democratic and uncomposed process by neither side nor by any individual.
“Gara in LDK develops as a challenge and confirmation of pre-membership individuals. Attempts for someone to come into the LDK structures via other roads, apart from violence as was the case in a subdeg at the LDK branch in Mitrovica, are unacceptable and out of the way of the LDK culture and behavior. Therefore, those who are unable to respect the rules should withdraw and not harm the process, because as such they will be unacceptable”, said the LDK communiqué.
We remember that two days ago, a physical clash between members and officials of the Democratic League of Kosovo has occurred at the centre's subdegre in Mitrovica. The LDK branch head in this town, Safet Kamberi, has said that in the country of this branch, there has been a tendency of undesirable people to attack the noble Chitak, who is in the race for head of the branch.
