KSF theatre wins second place at International Military Race in Croatia

Among the participants from 13 countries of the World, contestants of the International Military Race in the Republic of Croatia, Kosovo Security Force military Corporal Liridon Selimi (Civil Operations Company) took second place, ranking behind Romanian military Sergeant Mera Dorel Silviu, and leaving American soldier William Hannesy behind.
This year's contest is organised by the Croatian Land Army's Training and Doctrine Command “Fran Krsto Francopan”.
Contestants and contenders from three categories, a total of 146 soldiers, have owned the determined length of the 40km race, in the “Josip Joviq” and Krbava field.
The race took place in the qualifying phase - the qualification rifle, held in 9 ma, and the main race where the 40 - mile [40 km] distance, the 12 working stations, and 8 checkpoints were to be passed.
The working stations in which contestants were challenged were: navigation, grenade launch, horseing range, vHS D2 (automatic) shooting, HS training 9 (pistol), finding location on map, identification and control, first aid on battlefields, AT-4 (antitank), passage of landmines and controls, crossing the river on ropes, and calling for indirect fire.
Kosovo, respectively, at the International Military Race in the Republic of Croatia was represented by two young military officers, Sergeant Lorik Ramaj and Corporal Liridon Selimi, where he showed great success in the race by winning second place.
