Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veselini, accompanied by Kacannik Chairman Besim Ilazi, four days ago met residents of the village of Semaj and Doganaj who protested the numerous injuries caused to the streets of these municipalities by construction of the “Arba Xhaferi” highway.
Wessel had assured the residents that damaged roads would be repaired immediately after the inauguration of the new highway.
A day after the inauguration of the “Arba Xhaferi” highway, the asphalt of damaged local roads began, according to the demands of residents.
In this case, Chief Prime Minister Kadri Wessel, through a Facebook text, has welcomed the works and congratulated the residents on new roads while pledging further investments in the area.
“Today works have begun on the asphalt of local roads in the village of Semaj in Kacanik, while tomorrow they will continue work on other streets in Doganaj in the direction of Brezovica. That was the promise we gave four days ago with the chairman of the Kachanik, Besim Ilazi, the residents of these locations who had been damaged in the streets during the work of the “Arba Xhaferi” Highway. In addition to infrastructure investments, there will be other investments aimed at economic development”, Vessel wrote.
