roaming services will be down by 70%.
Today in Ohrid, regional and wider regulators hosted ways of implementing the agreement, which was approved at the political level in early April.
“What we are insisting on is to avoid these long procedures in a transitional period, while operators implement them mechanisms, to determine fixed prices that will lower tariffs from 70 to 80%”, said Sasho Dimitrioski, director of AKE, reports Alsat-M.
Otherwise, the ultimate goal is to completely abolish the roaming services in July 2021 and pay as local traffic, such as the case in Europe. As for reducing prices with Greece, this will most likely happen not this summer but by the end of the year.
Already working groups of representatives from Skopje and Athens have been formed, where models have been considered how to lower the price of mobile services, but some changes in electronic communications laws in Greece will also be expected.
