The Commission for Economic Development has not voted the Government's decision, with which the Government Commission for Privatisation of the Public Company “Kosovo Telekom” is authorised.
Commission Deputy Chairman Dardan Sejdiu has demanded the removal of the agenda with the argument that the investigative report on Telekom has not yet been completed.
Let's look at the final investigative report from the parliamentary Commission for Telecom, then see. Otherwise, I do not participate in the vote”, Sejdiu said.
Commission member Memli Krasniqi voiced opposition to removing this point from the agenda, but added that if MP Sejdiu does not participate in the vote, then there is no other solution.
“should not leave Telekom in such a poor state. Only privatisation had saved Telekom. I think this decision has to be voted, so can the entire privatisation process not happen two years ago. If Dardan Sejdiu doesn't attend, I propose not to lay the day down, so only is he taken from the meeting meeting to”, Krasniqi said.
The majority vote commission approved Sejdiu's request for the removal of the government decision's agenda for the privatisation of Telekom.
Otherwise, the Economic Development Commission today has reviewed and approved the annual report of the Independent Commission for Mining and Minerals KPMM for 2018, which Musa Shaban, chairman of the KPM Board, reported.
The commission also approved the Central Public Enterprises Performance Report for 2017.
