Frame Days Activity: MPs discuss changing election Law

The cycle of Kosovo Assembly deputies' debates with citizens of different municipal centres has been held in Lipjan today. The “Day activities of the Parliament” -- initiated by the Forum for Parliamentary Transparency and supported by the NDI -- aim to give citizens of different municipalities the chance to have direct communication with [the...] representatives.

MPs Naser Osmani (LDK), Glauk Konjufca (LVV), Ahmet Isufi (AAK), Sali Salih (PSD) and Haxhi Shala (Nisma), have responded to citizens in their address on issues that they are concerned with, from local problems, to important state developments. The change of the election Law was one of the issues discussed at this meeting.
Citizens called for the creation of more election areas so that each MP can have a certain electoral base.
The dictionary of deputies in the Parliament, the Law for Pensions of Educators of the 1990s, the principle of equality and justice for citizens, the working conditions for private sector workers, visa liberalisation, the Law for Gender Equality, the salaries of MPs, the Kosovo Army, the approach of the media to the work of the Parliament, minimum wages, unemployment, economic development, the removal of youth from the country, the formation of FSK's monitoring facilities, the formation of an emergency fund for each municipality, the situation in the north of Kosovo, the non-exploitation of natural assets in the agriculture sector, the employment sector and infrastructure sector in the town of LiSK, the start of labour, and job work, some of the parliamentary citizens, the parliamentary participation in the municipality.
The division of citizens was also the dissonance of deputies among them for joint decision-making when it comes to issues of national importance.
Present deputies, for their part, answered the questions raised and asked questions. Thanks to citizens for their presence, lawmakers considered such meetings important to themselves.
