The far-right and Eurosceptic parties have won more seats in the European Parliament than ever before.
Amazingly, even the left parties and the green pro- The EU has had the highest growth in 25 years, breaking the majority held by the two largest centre-right parties and centre-left parties for 40 years.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvin's extremist party emerged as the largest in Italy, while the final results show that Marine Le Pen also caused painful losses to President Emmanuel Macron's pro-European party, Periscope reports.

Even the long-lived German Chancellor Angela Merkel's party suffered a major decline, though the votes were taken from the Green and not the Alternative for Germany [AfD] of the far-right extreme as most feared.
Although they were raised in these elections, it cannot be said that right-wing populists in Europe managed in a way to reduce their expectations.
