According to preliminary results accepted by 11 member states and pre-election results from 17 member states, 751 countries in the European Parliament can be divided this way:
The European People's Party will have 173 seats, the Social Democrats 147, the Liberal Alliance and Democrats plus the Republican Republic in Movement 102, Greens 71, Consumers and Reformists 58, the Europe of Nations and Freedom (Alance Salvin) 57, Europe Freedom and Right Democracy, Movement Five Star plus the Party for Brex 56, Europe's United Left/ Nordic Green Left 42 countries
