Defence Minister Informs MPs of KSF Change Process

Defence Minister Rrustem Berisha, and KSF Commander Lieutenant General Nundman Rama, hosted Kosovo Parliamentary Commission for Internal Affairs, Security and Supervisor Minister Hadzi Shala to the ministry today.
Minister Berisha announced the MP with the newest developments in the Ministry of Defence and KSF. Minister Berisha in particular spoke of the KSF's General Transitional Plan, which will gradually be implemented in three phases over the next ten years, until full operational capacities are achieved. Minister Berisha stressed that the transition will take place in co-ordination with the strategic partners of the Republic of Kosovo.
The plan was then presented to MPs in detail by Colonel Haki Hoti, director of the Department for Change, Modernisation and Standardisation. Minister Berisha and General Rama also announced the MPs of the Parliamentary Commission both for the successes and the resulting challenges of the Ministry of Defence and KSF.
On behalf of MPs from the KSF Parliamentary Commission for Internal Affairs, Security and Supervisory, Chairman Haxhi Shala SExplain thanks for the reception as well as commended Minister Berisha and Commander Rama for the positive developments of the Ministry of Defence and KSF.
MPs posed questions, which mainly concerned the development of the Ministry of Defence and KSF. They also expressed their commitment to further support in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. Minister Berisha and General Rama provided appropriate explanations in MP questions and had a fruitful conversation with members of the Parliamentary Commission.
