This, despite constant pressure and calls from foreign diplomats in Kosovo for this land to be carried on behalf of the monastery, according to the Constitutional decision.
Recently, the call for the municipality to respect the court's decision again made the representative of the EU Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova.

He has reiterated that the Constitutional decision was unilateral.
Ramosaj points to reasons why this decision cannot be applied.
According to him, the decision is a blow to the economic development of the Decani municipality, which, as it says, is killing the hope of citizens of this municipality.
According to civil society, the blame for the created situation lies with leading heads of state who are silenced over the decision.
They call it purely political the Constitutional decision.
The Decani Monastery has also prevented construction of the road that connects this city with Plava and Gucia.
