Serbia's diplomacy chief, Ivica Dacic, declared today that Kosovo's north is <x0-stone in Pristina's” shoe, since only there is no sovereignty, so the purpose of ROSU's actions is to scare out Serbs.
According to him, with the action yesterday in the north, official Pristina wanted “to demonstrate force” and, he says, proves that it can stay in this territory.
“Maybe people don't understand this, but the arrival of ROSU in Gracanica or Shtrpce is not exclusive, because there are no safeguard mechanisms for areas that are south and surrounded by Albanians, but the north is something completely different from Kosovo where Pristina has no influence,” Dac told TV Pink.
On the other hand, he emphasises, such behaviour provokes the reaction of Serbs, and if the international community does not guarantee security for Serbs in Kosovo, then according to him, “Serbia will be forced to react”.
That the situation was serious, he says, has also shown yesterday's reaction to European Union official Angelina Ayeors at the annual meeting of the foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group and the Western Balkans in Bratislava, which had prior to the meeting said: “do nothing. ”
“That means they understood the seriousness of the situation to protect Serbs,” underlined Dacic.
