Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said today that Belgrade had no information about the arrests and actions that took place in the four municipalities in northern Kosovo.
He has added that the obligation of all signatories of the Brussels agreement is to have an announcement system for possible actions.
The chief of Serbian diplomacy told reporters during an event in Parliament that the Foreign Ministry normally does not communicate with KFOR, but, as he said, ” has seen information from state authorities in other countries that our state was not informed of any activity that would be conducted “.
During yesterday's anti-muggling police action, which, apart from four northern municipalities, extended to other parts of the country, 19 Serb, 4 Albanian and 4 Bosnian police officers were arrested.
Despite Dacic's complaints, days ago it was Serbian head of state himself, Aleksandar Vuciq, who had warned police arrests in the north, saying they aimed at weakening northern defence
