Powerful storms and tornadoes have hit the northern part of the United States today, not far from Talas Airport in Oklahoma at least one person has been injured and dozens of homes have been destroyed, thus leaving off the roof, the AP reports.
The Tornado has not destroyed the airport, but passengers have been sent to shelters for safety, while many flights have been canceled or postponed.
A man has suffered bodily injuries when a tree fell on him, and his health is currently unknown. And according to experts, storms can cause tornadoes and floods in parts of Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
And the storm that hit vacationers in Hikory and Missouri on Friday, seven people have suffered bodily injuries, with four of them being hospitals.
In Oklahoma because of the flooding, the highway linking the American states of El Renault, some 25 miles [40 km] west of Oklahoma City has been closed.
