Bomb in a mosque in Afghanistan, three dead and 20 wounded

A bomb exploded in a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, during Friday's prayers, officials said, killing three people, including a senior preacher, and wounding at least 20 men who had gathered to pray. Preacher, Samiullah Raihan, was a supporter of the pro-Western Afghan government, which the Taliban are trying to undermine. Firdeus Faramarz, a police spokesman, said the explosion was located near the Al-Takva mosque altar, the holy place for Islamic believers, reports “Reuters”.

The area where the bombing occurred is dominated by Sunni Muslims. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but I fighters SIS and Taliban are those who often conduct attacks in Afghanistan's largest city.
