Australia has allocated a budget of $7.8 million to cover the expense of publishing this registry.
The registry, named after the pedophiles, has surrendered in January. Police have said that through it they intend to send clear messages to pedophiles.
The abuse and exploitation of children is a global epidemic, which is becoming increasingly frequent, more organised and more extreme”, Australia's Interior Ministry officials declared.
Critics have said publishing this registry will not provide greater security for children.
