Kosovo Parliament MP Andy Hoti during an interview for Telegrafi has said it is a big responsibility to be Ukshi Hoti's son.
He has stressed that he has always received support from citizens and that he has tried not to stray from the right path.
“As with being without an arm. My mother has also played the role of my father, and she has struggled with all her strength to raise me so as not to notice my father's absence. Usually, though, no one can occupy Father's place. I've always missed it, I've had respect from all citizens until I got into politics and then changed. But before that, the respect that the people of Kosovo have given me has made me feel good, and not be led astray from my father's way, from the right way. It's been a great responsibility to be Ukshi's son, because you've always been in front of others, you couldn't be yourself as if you were a teenager”, he says, as you show it's growing up without a father.
Hoti said without Dad's help he could not be an MP.
He said he has decided to deal with politics because he wants to continue his family's contribution to the country.
Uksin Hoti was arrested in 1994 by Serbian police on charges of exercising hostile activities against the former Yugoslavia and of participating in movements for the Republic of Kosovo, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison. While on May 16, 199, he had been released from Dubrave prison after his release from prison, he had disappeared from the Serbian police, and nothing has been known of him ever since.
