In addition to the killing of domestic animals, the crime will be considered mistreatment, capture, organisation of animal fights, and conducting experiments.
Punishments for killing domestic animals may go to two years in prison, but that is the penalty for animal match organisers and their owners, while experiments are predicted for up to three years in prison, reports TopChannel.
All sentences are met with fines of up to $10,000. However, for the measure of criminal punishment, it will be the Law Commission, which will make final assessments.
