Kosovo's Statistics Agency has published the harmonised consumer price index for 2018, where prices reportedly were higher at an average of 1.1 per cent, compared to 2017.
This is mainly explained with the increase in consumer prices in the use of personal transportation equipment of 6.7%, with an impact of 0.5 percent; bread and cereals 2.7% with an impact of 0.3 percent; meat 2.3%, vegetables 6.6%, which each subgroup affected by 0.2 percent; tobacco 3.1%; transportation services 4.3%, with the rise of air transport prices, hotel services 2.1%, which each under the group affected by 0.1 percent in the IHCK.
And the price decrease can be seen in electricity, gas, and other fuels -5.4% with an impact of -0.2 percent; sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and candy -7.3%; audio-visule equipment, information processing photos -4.7%; each subgroup impacts with -0.1 percent on IHCH.
