Danny Drinkwater of Chelsea has been charged with drunk driving after an incident in Cheshire village, local police have announced.
In the Cheshire police statement, “A 29-year-old by Nether Alderley has been charged with drunk driving after an incident. ”
It is released with an unconditional guarantee and should be presented to the Stockport court on 13 May, Periscopi translates.
Drinkwater hasn't played a single match for Chelsea this season, though it was presented in half an hour as substitute for England's Supercup.
