Wessel, during his conversation with dozens of Kovraga farmers, has assured them that he will continue to raise subsidies for them and all Kosovo farmers.

“Subventions in agriculture will not stop, but will increase even more because people who most need and deserve to be helped are those who work and earn by their sweat”.

We're going to continue our support so that we can now move on to the tree processing section so that the value of products can be increased. Also, the security of plans begins soon, for which the Ministry of Agriculture will participate with half of the expenditures”.

The head of the Assembly encouraged apple growers in Kovreg to come together and move from tree - processing cultivation to support them in opening a factory that would also create many new jobs.

“This year has been given 30m euros in agricultural support, while next year we will increase support to 50m euros, because our farmers have yet to be supported further”.

Nazmi Blakaj, a grower of about 20 hectares of apples in Kovreg in Istog, thanked Chief Parparliamen Veselin for his continued care and assistance for all farmers.

The village of Kovreg cultivates over 200 acres [200 ha] of trees.
