For 20 years, the violence he subjected to her kept him hidden. And now he's beginning to confess, not only in Kosovo, but even to faraway America.

Vasfije Krasniqi-Goodman, tomorrow will confess to the US Congress the violence experienced by two Serb men when they were only 16.
At the American Congress, Krasniqi-Godman heads at the invitation of American congressional man Eliot Engel.
The Ambassador of Courage tells Kosovo that this meeting for him is very important.

“I am invited to go as a living witness to the war, Serbia that has committed the crimes in Kosovo, I am with the Bytyqi brothers, so for me it is a very important meeting. Because I have failed the case in Kosovo, now through America I hope that something justice can change, because America can probably take cases of another 20 thousand victims, said Krasniqi-Godman.

At the American Congress tomorrow, former Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga is expected to attend, as well as Ilir Bytyqi, Yll brother Agron and Mehmet Bytyqi, who were brutally killed by Serb forces in 1999.

The Kosovo Assembly has recently formed a temporary commission to condemn the crimes and genocide committed in Kosovo. Asked for the support of friendly countries, Krasniqi-Godman voiced optimism that one day justice will be achieved for all victims.

I am very optimistic because I am now in the whole world not only in Kosovo that have confessed my confession to another 20 thousand, I am going to other countries, with Europe, with Asia, which is now already known is a crime that has occurred, but our goal is to accept Serbia for committing crime and I am very optimistic that we will achieve justice. Even if justice is not achieved in my case, for another 20 thousand people, I do not give up until justice is achieved”, Krasniqi-Godman said.

The woman who became a voice to all other victims, publicly confessing the horror experienced on April 14, 1999, also has a message for all other victims.

“Life continues, not to give up, justice will come one day, it will be delayed but will come”, Krasniqi added.

Vasfije Krasniqi-Godman a few days ago in Kosovo has promoted the association “Justice for all”, whereby it seeks to achieve justice not only for itself but for all victims of sexual violence in Kosovo.

Vasfije Krasniqi-Godman is among the first women to have confessed all that happened 20 years ago. A trial against two Serbian men who violated Vasfie has been held, but the court has released both such persons as innocent.
