Kosovo's president has asked the European Union not to waste too much time and to liberalise visas for Kosovars, writes Periscopi.
Thaci today held a meeting with Donald Tusk and Johannes Hahn in Brussels, where he stressed that procrastinating the decision on visa liberalisation by the EU is meaningless and unacceptable.
Thaci's full mailing to Facebook:
The Republic of Kosovo has strategic orientation for the European Union. At today's meetings with President Tusk and Commissioner Hahn in Brussels, I reiterated that procrastinating the visa liberalisation decision for our citizens is meaningless and unacceptable. The European Union, without further delays, must make the decision to abolish visas and accelerate the path of the Western Balkans to the European family. Status Quo and the differences between Western Balkan states are only exceeded by the leadership and clear vision of the European Union for our entire region. HTH. /PERISCOP/
