Thaci: Drenica will never be more isolated

So the country's president Hashim Thaci has declared today, adding that nothing happens by chance because he was born, strengthened, and won the people of Kosovo.

At the memorial rally where martyrs from the Skokyright municipality were honoured on the 20th anniversary of the fall, Thaci recalled that everywhere Kosovo is commemorating the nation's martyrs and heroes, while adding that the state will always be close to their families and all society.

The pain of family members of the fall for freedom, according to him, conveys institutions to decision-making the country's institutions.

While we thus remember our martyrs, our heroes, our war, to be sure we are on the right path to strengthening our state, building our future, our development. You see, like all of Kosovo, Drenica has changed. There will never again be, as has happened in the past, isolation or discrimination for Drenica. There will be only moving ahead, there will be only development, just progress, there will only be well-being... We should be proud of our past, with dignity and integrity, those values of the KLA that are the beginning of our history of freedom and independence, every day, every minute, wherever we are, wherever we are to cultivate, to strengthen and deliver to future generations”, he said.

The mayor of Skyeraj municipality, Bekim Jashari, had a message for more work so that the will of the fallen will be put in place.

Let's be unique, love each other, work for this country, a more secure future for our children, only then we'll say we've brought the martyrs' trust to the site”, he said.

On behalf of the families of the martyrs, Rushi Veliu, said the Polish martyrs led the way of the future, closing the war chapter and opening it of freedom.

It's very natural for today pain and pride to be together. This anniversary of the fall of these martyrs and martyrs is the anniversary of our pride because Pollac at all times gave his people his feather, rifle, knowledge, inspired by the work of great patriot Hasan Pristina and the war of legendary Commander Adam Yashari... I want these sacrifices made by our martyrs and martyrs for freedom and independence to be brought to power, to defeat any obstacle, to fulfill their trust, and to build the new and independent state as they wanted it to be, he said.
