The figure was announced by Hadi Darfish, deputy director of the Housing Foundation A charity that is monitored by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ajatollah Ali Khamenei.
He said 60,000 other houses have been severely damaged.
Authorities, earlier, have announced that at least 45 people have died since March 19th, as a result of heavy rains involving the northern, central and southern parts of Iran.
Officials have said they will compensate citizens for the material damage.
Iran's Meteorological Organisation has called on citizens not to travel to flooded areas, warning of more rainfall.
Iran's Revolutionary Guard and the military are participating in rescue efforts.
