In this event, the mayor of the municipality, Agim Bahtiri, deputy chairman, Faruk Mujka, deputy minister of MMPH, Gjergj Beka, adviser to Prime Minister Haradinaj, Jahja Luka, municipal directors, chairman of the organisation “Parents' office, Bajram Cerkini, family of the missing martyrs, as well as numerous citizens.
In his speech, the mayor of the municipality, Agim Bahtiri, after greeting those in attendance and the family of the fallen, said they would be remembered every time because they are the most devout people in this country who contributed to our freedom.
This macabre massacre has occurred 20 years today, where many victims suffered in their homes and in their lands. With the people we've been living with and working together, and at the end of that, such a thing can only be done by Serbian nationalism. This month is the hardest for us since we remember very low, but at the same time we're very proud. We're going to do the gem at the Museum House today to honor all the fallen ones and that's the mirror of what happened to us years ago and all the generations to come:x1>, Bahtiri said.

Also, Mayor Bahtiri thanked the Government of Kosovo, which has shared the tools for building the Museum House, where the entire story, which had happened 20 years earlier, will be summed up.
Jahja Luka, adviser to Kosovo Prime Minister on the issue of missing persons, said Mitrovica today has many pains and tears, but even after 20 years is proud and Stoic.
“Today, we and all of Kosovo are in pain for all of the fallen, as we deal with ungodly and shameless people who committed this massacre. But the Kosovo government is committed to creating conditions for all who gave the best sons and daughters to this country. And in the case of the missing, we are changing the law for their families to enjoy at least one pension of old age something which, under old law, did not have”, said Prime Minister's adviser, Jahja Luka.
Then Chairman Bahtiri, along with municipal representatives, family members of the dead and martyrs, martyrs, veterans and disabled war, representatives of institutions, and a number of citizens, have placed flowers near the plaque with the names of martyrs, and “stones have been placed.
