The name Shaban Poluzha, Ibrahim Rugova and Adem Demac are some of the names proposed for the re-appointed several roads in this town.
This initiative has been undertaken by the Bosniak National Council, however, still does not have a final decision.
In addition to these names of historical figures of Albanians, the names of several Bosnian historical figures have been proposed for the appointment of these roads, such as that of Saif Hadzimetovic, known as Saif Efendija, chairman of Novi Pazar during World War II.
In the name of Shaban Poluzaku, it has been proposed to appoint the route to Hotkov, named by Ibrahim Rugova, is expected to be named the current route réSutjeska, while by the name of Adem Demac on the road to the country called kwug.
In reasoning about changing Sandzak's roads, current street names reportedly do not reflect the identity of Novi Pazar in any way.
The “in no way reflects what Novi Pazar is, and does not reflect the identity of Novi Pazar and the citizens of this country”, writes Rysteletgraf.rs, the Express broadcast.
Sandzak MPs, meanwhile, have released the Novi Pazar Municipal Assembly session after their proposal had left the agenda with the decision of the Serbian Progressive Party of Vucinqi.
