Rexhep Selimi's brother could be sentenced to five years in prison

The prosecution has confirmed that the indictment against Ramadan Selimi for the “assault on the official person” was filed on 10 October last year.
On 15,03.2018, the prosecutor of the case has made a decision to initiate the investigation, and at 10,09.2018, he has filed charges against the highest-ranking defendants in the case of criminal conduct {Sulmi against the official person from Article 410, par. 2 connected to money. On March 2nd of last year, MP Selimi's brother was accompanied to the police station in Pristina under suspicion of attacking the police official. As the media had reported, the event had taken place until police stopped the car, which was driving Ramadan Selimi for countering traffic.
Selimi allegedly ignored the police's orders and physically attacked him.
According to the Penal Code, Selimi could be sentenced from six months to five years, Periscopi reports.
