Within thematics “Visual Art: Esat Valla works”, Kosovo Post Filatelia issue post stamps with artistic images of the prominent Kosovo painter Esat Valla.
Esat Valla was born in Gjakova on 22 April 1944, Kosovo's visual art enriched by works that convey the particular meaning and curvature of a surrealist, undoubtedly with undeniable value not only artistic but also historical. The artist's creative periods are the same as those of his people and homeland. However, as the painter himself puts it: “In art is present with secrecy, we should have respect for that secrecy, when a man thinks he's discovered, he's awake and he's buried somewhere after”.
Three stamps labeled within this show present two periods of dance creativity. <x) “Dirary, broken roles” presents the concerns of the years 81-91.
The works of painter Esat Valla are rich enough with mystics, older doors for centuries, cabinets, windows, common images with their attractive concrete. His works have as a point of reference the artist's experience, professional and vital, denouncing the inconsistencies of images, sensitivity and innovation, the report between the past and the present, symbolic references, which in their fuller context contain the sign that this artist carries.
The Kosovo Post branch will be committed to having through post stamp images affirm our artistic and national values.
