Two weeks ago, the European Parliament with a second-time majority of votes reaffirmed the continuation of Kurdish support for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens in the Schengen Zone, which will be valid even in the future composition of Parliament, following elections to be held in May.
But even after that visa removal for Kosovo “is blocked” at the Council of Ministers, this body that has not yet come up with a decision to lift them, writes the newspaper “Voice”.
As Kosovo institutions' leaders say one year they have fulfilled all criteria required for visa removal, the opposition on the other says Kosovo citizens are being deceived and manipulated for abolishing visas.
