World Monuments and Landings Day

This day is seen as an opportunity for all the National Committees of this Council to defend their common goals on the same day.

A year later, U General Conference NESTO has recommended that member states consider the possibility of this day's declaration, each year as “The International Day of Monuments and Historical Locations”.

So every year, the ICOMOS National Committees organise different activities to mark April 18th.
