During Friday's first-hour raid, undertaken after receiving a classified information, military police discovered <x09% of a material that appears to be a psychoactive substance” within “Jadran”, ship that was anchored at the port of Tivat, this minister has announced, reports “Reuters”, broadcast <6> Koha Ditore<7>.
Montenegrin Navy divers have also controlled the lower part of the ship's body, the announcement said.
Podgorica daily “Vijest” has reported that authorities confiscated more than 50kg of cocaine aboard this ship, but that no one has so far been arrested in connection with the case.
Teachers and students of the Montenegrin Navy faculty were not on board the ship during the raid, the ministry has announced. They were expected to board the ship later and set off on a training voyage.
“Operators of the police department and military police... are working on finding the responsible”, said the defence ministry's announcement.
