Kosovo Serbs have decided to participate in elections for mayors in northern Kosovo.
That decision came after the meeting of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq with Serbian political representatives in Kosovo.
It is said that the verdict in question was taken with the “goal that Albanians, by 0.1 per cent or one per cent, not take over in northern Kosovo”.
On Monday, the country's president, Hashim Thaci, announced extraordinary elections for the four northern Kosovo municipalities; Zubin Potok, Leposavic, Zvecan and Northern Mitrovica four months after the resignation of the mayors of these municipalities.
