LDK against Vetevendosje protests: We Are Not Left to Anyone

Democratic League of Kosovo media official Besian Mustafa, in a statement given Periscopi has confirmed the stance of the party's deputy leader, Agim Veliu, that they will not join mass protests, warned by the Vetevendosje Movement for the collapse of Haradinaj Government.

Mustafa has said Veliu's position is the party's official position.

While asked for MP Osmani, Mustafa has reiterated the earlier position that Veliu as deputy chairman is competent to give the party's position on the issue.

And, the deputy chairman of this party -- at the same time as the mayor of the Podujevo municipality, Agim Veliu -- in a statement issued to the media earlier said the LDK would not join Vetevendosje protests.

We don't join their protests, we don't run away from anyone. We demand the collapse of the Government but not by these methods, these methods are not acceptable”, Veliu said, who did not explain further what methods his party will use to bring this government down.

The “E are behind the idea, but Vetevendosje broke up with their friends, supporting Government when they're needing it and currently there's not enough vote”, Veliu concluded.

While in terms of protests warned by Vetevendosje, MP Vjosa Osmani said her party wants no violent but peaceful protests.

“The LDK is the first party to have protested since opposing the Milosevic regime. We're pro-organizations mass. But we are not at all for violent protests with tear gas and other tools”, Osman said in T7.

Vetevendosje Chairman Albin Kurti at a conference held for the media during yesterday warned massive protests against this government and sending the country to new elections.
