LDK seeks return of seizures for Ferizaj seniors

Ramadan Baliu, from the LDK's education commission, said the municipality with this move is violating the STAT administrative guidelines.

The field trip issue is regulated with the MAS administrative instruction number 35 where the forecasts clearly have to be organised for students in which form the municipal education directorate in the past year has extended, yet students have regular learning and there is no movement to take on. We consider that there have been two violations, the first is the primary right of students, and the second offense is that the law that regulates the trips very well. The failure to afford ferizaya seniorships is taking place without a public decision of municipal institutions, without publicly informing citizens, but also without an open debate with all relevant factors, so that the country will provide access to all-involved civic bodies. For such decisions, it is necessary to listen to students, educators, education officials and professionals in this area, but also to civil society and various political and nonpolitical associations. Such arguments over debate have long been out of the way to the Communist decisions, because the municipal leadership is inclined to make arbitrary decisions, such as this one for students' field trip”, Baliu said.

On these opposition charges, municipal education director Africa Labijan said the trips to Albania have been halted as various abuses are being made, the demand of professors and the parents' council with the same attitude has been respected.

The request and decision came from the Parents' Council, and as a result of these talks, we've made a decision based on the decision of the parenting council to interrupt the trips, because they didn't have the character they're called for, and we have multiple cases that there have been abuses on these trips. We believe that the ministry will also provide new instructions on this issue, we know that you have a right to that, but from the conversations we have had with seniors and teachers, we have seen that their mood is not to go. We've also had signatures from class stewards who have applied to us to prevent these trips from being organized. I think these trips would go to the laps of some school principals and teachers, and different companies that have it for their own benefit”, Lubjan said.

In September last year, Ferizaj's education directorate had brought a decision to postpone this autumn trip, while this decision had sparked protests and a boycott of teaching by some Ferizaj high school seniors.
