LDK opens a Kosovo-Serbia agreement after meeting in Berlin

The meeting of Western Balkan leaders, to be held April 29th in Berlin, is not expected to be a meeting where it will result in any agreement between Kosovo and Serbia. At least that's what the Democratic League of Kosovo thinks. Driton Selmanaj, LDK deputy, in an interview for Arbres.info, says a meeting of [...]
Driton Selmanaj, LDK deputy, in an interview for Arbres.info, says such a meeting can ease relations between the two countries, but will not result in any agreement.
I don't believe that at this meeting an agreement will be expected, the ice can be broken that is decided because we have a non-communication of both international and local factors. The important thing is not to strain the situation even in the report with Serbia because of the blockade that has been done in the dialogue report. It is positive that we have a commitment from Germany and France to this issue because it is in the positive context of concern for Kosovo”.
Selmanaj further in this interview has spoken of an opportunity to co-operate with the Vetevendosje Movement for protests called by the latter for the collapse of Government.
According to LDK deputy, if the LDK appears in protests, then there is no going back to institutions until this government is down.
We are two completely different subjects and we have our assessments. How the LDK joins, not an initiative that is made through public calls. These issues need to be discussed and there's a conversation between President Mustafa and Mr. Kurti, and they have to agree on joint actions even through protests because usually within the Parliament we have an agreement. We need to analyze because if we get on the street, we have room to go back to institutions because there is a range of issues. The LDK will have its position, but the moment the LDK decides to go out in the protests, it's going back to the” institutions.
While for an opportunity to co-operate with any of the coalition parties for voting motions of confidence for the collapse of this government, Selmanaj sees it impossible.
According to him, coalition partners can only be ruined when their wealth is affected, not for CEC members.
And we don't, because these are symbolic flashes, because they made it together another purpose. It's corruption they unite for. They don't mind who goes to the CEC and who doesn't. Those fundamental purpose is to continue, employ their families. That made them together. These guys at the moment when they see that you're in danger of wealth then they can join us with a motion, in contrast to local interests, they care”
