This institution, as a special reference centre for all of Kosovo, has a total of 1900 nurses of different profiles, but as a number, turns out to be insufficient. As a result, the quality of many health services for patients has not been at the desired level over the years.

In addition to the small number of nurses in this institution, the health system in Kosovo has also faced staff departures to European Union countries for better working conditions and salaries than in Kosovo. Currently, nurses in Kosovo for their work are paid at about 400 euros a month.

However, despite the best conditions outside Kosovo, a recent competition by the Clinical Centre for the acceptance of 100 young nurses has shown that there are many interested people working there because the number of those who have competed has been thousands of sosh.

One of them is Arta Cufaj, who says he's graduated from medical high school for several years but cannot find a job as a nurse. However, it is pessimistic that this time again it will be accepted because of intense competition.

I'm competing as a nurse in the Paddy Clinic. I may be accepted and I'm hoping, but the competition is too big and my expectations aren't that big”, says Cufaj.
