In discussing the environment and health, with the focus on air pollution, it was urged that concrete steps be taken in improving the state of the environment, as a result of which Kosovo citizens have the lowest life expectancy in the Balkans.
It was asked by the state, organizations, and companies to organize themselves and do more on air pollution.
Health Minister Uran Ismaili said that environmental problems are the main cause Kosovo citizens have the lowest life expectancy in the Balkans. He has pledged and said he is willing to co-operate with concrete mechanisms to improve the environmental situation.
The ongoing environmental problems are the main reason Kosovars have the lowest life expectancy in the Balkans. Air pollution is a major challenge. There are negative effects everywhere, we can see in the lakes and in the air we receive every day. The mechanisms on municipals are required to organise municipalities for fighting of this” phenomenon.

Environment and Spatial Planning Minister (MMPH), Fatmir Matosi, said all focus is achieving its effect, EO writes.
