He had been working as a waiter in Drenas for several years, but this was not improving his and his family's living conditions, so exile was seen as a better solution.
But Heidi did not do what she had thought. On the first day of his work in the German state, the father of two children fell down from the fourth floor of a building in which he was working in the builder and passed away.
The tragic event has shocked family and those who knew him. The Thaci family today had opened the doors to see, until exactly when Heidi's lifeless body will return to Kosovo is still unknown.
Speak to those who had known Heidi Thaci
Days earlier they had sent their family to Slovenia. Heidi Thaci of Lapusnik of Drenas had quit his job as a waiter who had been exercising it for years to escape into exile in search of a better life.
Upon arriving in the Slovenian state, Thaci could not find work, so after a few days he left for Germany.

Family members have few words to comment on what happened to the deceased, saying that they were upset and did not want to talk about the subject. Today, numerous people had gone to their family to lead the battle.
Neighbors on the other side have told Gazette Express that the conditions under which the deceased was living were not very good.
The “conditions are behind them in Kosovo, Ma. With a salary of two children, Nanna's wife is to look at me, she went to a better life, if the taxis were to be left there”, the neighbors say, as they head for the family to wait for their parents.
Hajdin Thaci's friend, Armend Shala, says the late man had been looking for a solution to leave Kosovo for years.
Always when you've talked to him, there's no connection to which country I go to, except to leave Kosovo. If he had after the good conditions he wasn't far away at all, Shala says.
On the other hand, he relates that four days before leaving for exile, he had seen his companion say that he had been happy.
I have very good words for him, I have a lot of friends, he was a happy, smiling boy, skee with never nervous”, he says, as he shows what he last said to his friend.
When our country is rotten, we are forced by waiters to go to construction worker for a future of our children”, Shala says, quoting his late friend.
Hajdin Thaci had left for Slovenia seven days earlier. That day through social networks, he had indicated that he had obtained a work visa. He left behind his wife and two children.
Family members have not yet learned when the lifeless body will return to Kosovo, until they have information that the deceased is already being conducted.
Comfort for the family has also been said through social networking.
And if you come back dead, I'll remember you very much, Dean, it was, and you'll always be in our hearts, and it always happened to be, one of his friends on Facebook.
