KMDLNj has demanded that the former Serbian minister in Kosovo government, Ivan Teodosijevic, be arrested and tried for hatred and insults on ethnic grounds.
Because of the language he had used for the Recak massacre, Prime Minister Haradinaj immediately dismissed Teodosijevic, who served as minister of the Local Power Administration.
“Goodpo, even before this dismissal, the Kosovo Special Prosecutor, according to I's public statements. Teodjevic has had to launch investigations according to official duty for the fact that these statements incite hatred on ethnic grounds, ethnically-based insults and contain false data. I. Teodosijevic, if we have his hateful statements based on them, cannot be considered punishment until the time when he will not face the law for a criminal act that is sanctioned according to laws in Kosovo”, the statement said.
KMDLNj says he expects Kosovo Special Prosecutor to take action based on law due to inciting hatred on ethnic grounds and false content.
“should become clear that there is a difference between political and criminal responsibility. The Teodosievic case is a typical example of making the distinction between these two responsibilities”, the KMDLNj statement concludes.
