Juncker turns down Theresa May request, there is no extension of Brex

European Commission Chairman Jean-Claude Juncker has rejected British Prime Minister Theresa May's request for short extension of the EU's exit deadline of Great Britain. He has said that if the EU exit agreement does not last another nine days, Britain does not go out without agreement or long deadline extension. 24 hours [...]
24 hours after Prime Minister May said its strategy, the European Commission chairman rejected the request for a deadline until 22 May.
Speaking in the European Parliament, Juncker has said 12 April is the last deadline for the British Parliament to ratify the agreement.
If you don't pass the deal, there won't be short delays. After 12 April, we risk the European Parliament elections, which will be held at the end of May” said Juncker today in the European Parliament.
Juncker said at this point we risk Britain leaving without agreement, but it will not be excluded as a member state. The European Union is demanding that, if set for a postponement, it be low until March 2020.
Juncker said: I believe that an exit without agreement can happen at midnight on April 12, and that is very likely to happen. Even if that happens, the EU is ready.
“We have been preparing since December 2017. We've always known that if the deal doesn't pass, there will be an exit without a deal” said Juncker.
Yesterday, Prime Minister May, has publicly requested that the EU give Britain until May 22nd.
