(7 years ago)The International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) has organised the three-day workshop at the Kosovo Agricultural Institute in Pec(IBK), which is also the host of this workshop, in which it will be discussed on the importance and needs of seed testing labs. Representatives of the IBK, representatives of the labs from Australia, Greece, Sweden, Latvia, Ireland and Norway are participating, and on this occasion they will also be introduced and discussed on the basic principles of quality management, the needs of seed testing labs, which should be in line with the ISTA Accreditation Standard and prepare for the achievement and accountability of ISTA.
Otherwise, this worker started April 09th and will last until April 11th, meanwhile, this is the first time the ISTA has organised seminars in Western Balkan countries.
Also, the Kosovo Agricultural Institute during these days will have the possibility of deepening co-operation with this organisation to thus pave the way for IBK's membership in this international organisation and also the international discreditment of the Institute's Seed Control Laboratory.
