Work has begun to regulate the large parking lot of the city of Gjakova. President Ardian Gjini also attended the opening ceremony, which has said this is a very important project for the Gjakova municipality.
He expressed happiness in the beginning of this project's implementation, for he estimates the same as one of the warmest projects he has personally stood by in all the details.
Otherwise, the large Gjakova town park is expected to be the most unique park in Kosovo, not only because of its size on the surface, but also because of many other features expected to have.
One of the features of this park will be the diversity of vegetation, since it is estimated that all the plant species that grow in Kosovo, including wood, bush and orchards, will be planted in its space.
In the interior of the park, there are also two small coffee shops, a food store, and a bookstore - elements that will add to the park's character for recreation and education.
The park will be surrounded by a surrounding wall at an altitude of 18 inches [80 cm], while there will be six different entrances and exits through three types of gates.
According to the project, gates and walls will give a special character in the entire park, interlocked with other elements characterising the old view of the city of Gjakova.
The entire project will cost 360 thousand euros and is scheduled to be completed by 2019.
