A major fire broke out in a warehouse near Heathrow Airport in London, according to British media.
At least six trucks for fire-fighting, 40 firefighters and police officers are on the scene.
Eyewitnesses say that explosions have also been heard.
British Railways say regular lines will be postponed or delayed.
For now, it is not known whether dense smoke as a result of the fire has affected air traffic.
