The event in Rinas, Vasili: Albania Image Strike

The former chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Petrit Vasili, has reacted today in a media statement, linked to the event in Rinas, viewing it as a danger of citizens' safety and damage to Albania's image.

“Citizens are shocked with the event at the Rhynas airport, where a criminal group clearly demonstrated that the security at this airport is zero and that the state's role in ensuring this security is zero security and the state's reaction is certainly zero/”, he said.

He said the “citizens feel increasingly endangered, and at exactly where the country's international airport happens and security parameters should be maximum”.

Albania's “Imagination has suffered an irreversible blow, as all international media have reflected it as grave event”, he stressed.
