Erdogan's reaction comes after Turkish election results

Turkey's President, Recep Tayip Erdogan, has declared that his Justice and Development Party (AKP) won by a large margin in the elections for mayors of Turkish cities and dealt a blow to those who tried to kneel the country. “We acknowledge that we have won the hearts of people in the places we have won, [...]
“We acknowledge that we have won the hearts of people in the countries we have won, but we were not quite successful in the countries we lost”, Erdogan said.
He said the pro-Kurdish party, which he described as terrorist because of alleged links to Kurdish rebels, was defeated in areas where the majority of Kurds were.
Turkish State Television TRT announced earlier that the AKP won about 45% of the vote in today's local elections, but that it lost the post of Ankara mayor after 25 years.
