“Erasmus+”, topic discussion between Bytyqi and university and college rectors

Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqiri Bytyqi has met with public universities and private colleges reactors, with which he has discussed access to the “Erasmus +” programme, so that our higher education institutions can benefit as much from this programme as possible.

Minister Bytyqi reiterated that, the programme “Erasmus+” is very important in terms of the mobileity of students, professors and internationalisation of higher education, while adding that the purpose of the meeting is to coordinate actions in order to bring as much funds to Kosovo as possible.

“MAST is willing, in co-operation with the institutions of higher education, to draft policies that would directly affect the promotions of academic staff professional capacities within our institutions”, the minister stressed.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Bytyqi and university representatives agreed to form a working group with the participation of all institutions of higher education, which will deal with the problems in implementing current projects, as well as with the drafting of an action plan, in order to benefit as much funds from the “Erastus+” programme as possible.
