Swiss media, 20m. ch, has reported today about a Swiss Embassy car in Kosovo, parked incorrectly on a street in Kosovo's capital, Pristina.

As it appears in photos published by 20m. ch, The car was parked so badly that it had blocked one of the B Street strips in Pristina.

And federal Department of Foreign Affairs spokesman Pierre-Alain Eltschinger has said her diplomats should respect the laws of the countries they are serving; in this case, those of Kosovo.

“generally, The EDA [ Federal Department for Foreign Affairs] requires diplomats and members of their families to respect the rules and laws of the host state”, Eltschinger has said of the Swiss media 20m.ch.

According to Eltschinger, the car that was accidentally parked in Pristina belongs to a member of the Swiss Embassy's diplomatic staff: “is run by a family member. Meanwhile, the Embassy has alarmed him for his wrong conduct”.
