Cut the finger after voting the wrong party

An Indian voter has cut off his index finger after realizing he had voted for the political party <x0 wrong”.

In a video that has become viral, Pawan Kumar says he voted accidentally for the ruling Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party.

He wanted to vote for a regional party, but was puzzled by the numerous symbols in the voting car.

After casting the vote, each finger of the voter index is marked with ink. He voted on Thursday (April 18th) in Bulandshahr, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. This was the second phase of voting in the Indian general elections.

I wanted to vote for the elephant, but I voted for the flower incorrectly”, Kumar says in the video. It refers to party symbols displayed in the voting machine near the name of each candidate.
